Green Day in Fremont

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Toyota President Akio Toyoda, and Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk at a press conference announcing a partnership between the two companies to build electric automobiles at the former Nummi auto plant in Fremont. Toyota plans to invest $50 million into the Palo Alto-based company. "Toyota is a company founded on innovation, quality, and commitment to sustainable mobility," said Musk. "It is an honor and a powerful endorsement of our technology that Toyota would choose to invest in and partner with Tesla.” Production of the Tesla Model S electric sedan could begin next year. The Nummi plant can manufacture 400,000 cars annually, but Tesla says only one-fourth of that number will produced leaving the possibility the Nummi site could still be developed for housing and retail or the future home of the Oakland Athletics.

So we have the Federal Government pouring a couple hundred million into Tesla and a couple hundred million more into Solyndra. This is insanity. Neither of the companies hIave any track record yet the Marxist Obama is pissing borrowed money down a rat hole!

In the real world a company creates a product, sells it, gets a track record, creates a profit, puts the profit back into the company and the company expands. But under the Marxist Obama and Stark the government blows close to $1 BILLION on two companies that haven't sold squat. WTF?

The Elon Musk has one hell of weird ass look on his face. What is he thinking?
