Nate Miley is killing it. Tojo needs to stop before he is embarrassed hahahašŸ˜‚

Alameda County voters are embarrassing. If they want corrupt Miley for the next 4 years, Ha Ha Ha

Congratulations Joel Young! He's holding off the Republican lady for 3rd place. #3rdplace

All three Board of Sup candidates had same amount of votes of 13k when absentee count came out. How is that possible?

Tavares I just called a candidate and was told that Jennifer Ong spent about $50.00 per vote. Is that accurate? Did she really spent more than all Alameda candidates in all races combined?

To 12:39. You don't understand how elections work. So what if she spent $50 per vote. She just had to spend that much to reach all voters. Is all bout reaching voters not the money.

Are you're counting the IE expenditures as hers. Technically they are not.

money doesn't = votes. Just ask "the Donald"

$$$ = votes, just ask shoplifter hayashi and ong dumb-dung

You are wrong 8:12pm.
Dr. Jennifer Ong is a very sweet lady that would never use anyone else money but her own. She is an optometrist and she used only her own money and not from any interest group like Quirk did. If her campaign spent $500k is because it was her hard earned money period. Stop harrasing and being racist towards Asians. Stop spreading lies.

Facts are fact not racism..Ong bought her second place.

You don't realize because people are racist against Asians that we have to do everything better than most people. It is expected for us Asians to do better on anything. So what if Hayashi has lots of money and so what if Ong had to spend so much money. Ong's campaign did not buy the votes, her campaign just had to spend that much because people are racist against Asians.

Oh my, while the post--

$$$ = votes, just ask shoplifter hayashi and ong dumb-dung"

has some potentially racist elements such as "dumb-dung"
Still I would have to strongly disagree with your statment as follows,
"You don't realize because people are racist against Asians that we have to do everything better than most people"

In this arena, of Alameda County politics, I'd like to see your data backing that up.

Look around. Look at the history, going back to March Fong in 1966. Look at the past history of Asian candidates, especially Asian women.
You think Jean Quan, Wilma Chan, Mary Hayashi and others have all been held back on the ballot because they were Asian?
Or that Rob Bonta is at a disadvantage due to his ethnicity.

I'll tell you, on last election night with the Quirk and Ong percentages reporting, I thought Ong had a 50/50 chance to overtake Quirk in November.
Why? Because I figured Ong being #1 female and #2 being Asian, gave her a advantage that more than made up for her 5% deficit.

Yet here, you still live in the perception she is at some disadvantage due to being Asian.

About time you looked around at the current reality. You are living in the past.
Look everywhere. IN schools, in business, in politics. "People are racist against Asians"?
"people" meaning a large portion of residents?
Sorry but I fully disagree with the world you think surrounds you.
